Uniform
Our school uniform is very important to us here at Canklow. It enables us to support children in having a strong sense of identity and belonging within our school. We encourage children to wear uniform every day.
We have a more modern logo which looks great and can be seen around school too. Any blue colour school wear, without the logo is fine to wear too.
We ask that school uniform is...
black or grey trousers (shorts are acceptable too in the summer time)
black or grey skirts, or dresses (pinafores, gingham dresses, skort sets,)
White, pale blue, or royal blue polo shirts, or white shirts- with or without logo)
Royal blue jumpers or cardigans (with or without logo)
Fleeces can be worn in the school colour if parents wish.
PE kit
We ask that children wear a pair of black shorts and a white t- shirt for PE please.
Outdoor PE
Joggers and jumper,
Trainers or pumps should be provided for both indoor and outdoor PE lesson.
Where can you buy it?
We have a few recommendations for purchasing the school uniform, either with or without the school logo.
Johnny D's and Pinders in the town centre, both supply Canklow Uniform. (click the link to find the website page).
In school we can also place orders for parents, who can pay using Arbour if that is easier.
We also
Many other supermarkets and shops such as Asda, Tesco, Aldi, Marks and Spencers, Next and Sainsburys also have school uniform to purchase too.
NOTE- We sometimes have spare items in school should anyone require this, and we would be grateful if any parents would pass any uniform they no longer need to us, so that we can offer this to other children.
Jewellery
We ask that children do not wear any jewellery to school such as bracelets, rings and necklaces. We know that it can be very upsetting when things get lost or broken so we would prefer children not to wear it.
Earrings should be studs or small, no dangly ones please, this is to keep up with health and safety regulations. If possible we ask that they are removed for PE, or covered with tape to prevent accidents.
Watches can be worn to school, but not smart watches.
We cannot accept any responsibility if any jewellery is lost or broken.
