Academic support

The BBC offer a wide range of academic support for children (and adults) across all subjects. Their Bitesize site is a fantastic resource for short and visual learning support

Having routines is so important for child - Family Toolbox has a wealth of resources for you to use at home.
We know that keeping your children safe online is a worry. There are a number of apps that can now be downloaded to give you control over your child's devices. The NSPCC have issued advice here to support you with that. We also have advice sheets about specific apps and games on our Online safety page
Our local Early Help team also offer a range of parenting courses which are evidence based and have shown to have a significant impact on a child's social and academic progress. Their offer is listed on their webpages here.
